QuickDeliver ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you use our Platform, in compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.

2. Information We Collect

Personal Information: When you register or place an order, we collect your name, phone number, email address, delivery address, and payment information. For Delivery Partners and Store Partners, we may additionally collect identity documents, bank account details, and vehicle information.

Usage Information: We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Platform, including device information (type, OS, browser), IP address, pages visited, features used, and timestamps.

Location Information: With your consent, we collect precise location data to provide delivery services, show nearby stores, and estimate delivery times. You can disable location services in your device settings, though this may limit Platform functionality.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: (a) process and deliver your orders; (b) communicate with you about orders, promotions, and updates; (c) improve our Platform and services; (d) personalize your experience and provide recommendations; (e) process payments and prevent fraud; (f) comply with legal obligations.

We may use aggregated, anonymized data for analytics, research, and business purposes. This data cannot be used to identify individual users.

4. Information Sharing

We share your information with: (a) Store Partners — your name, delivery address, and order details to fulfill your order; (b) Delivery Partners — your name, phone number, and delivery address to complete delivery; (c) Payment processors — payment information to process transactions securely.

We may also share information with: (a) service providers who assist in operating the Platform; (b) law enforcement or government authorities when required by law or to protect our legal rights; (c) in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with appropriate notice.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to maintain your session, remember preferences, and analyze Platform usage. Essential cookies are required for Platform functionality; analytics cookies help us understand usage patterns.

You can control cookie settings through your browser. Disabling essential cookies may prevent you from using certain features of the Platform.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL), secure storage practices, access controls, and regular security audits. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, please contact us immediately.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. After account deletion, we may retain certain information as required by law (e.g., transaction records for tax purposes) or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention).

Order history and transaction data are retained for a minimum of 8 years as required under Indian tax and commercial law.

8. Your Rights

Under applicable Indian law, you have the right to: (a) access your personal data held by us; (b) correct inaccurate personal data; (c) withdraw consent for data processing (where consent is the basis); (d) request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to legal retention requirements.

9. Compliance with Indian IT Act

We comply with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its amendments, including the IT (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011. We implement reasonable security practices as prescribed under these rules.

Sensitive personal data (financial information, passwords, biometrics) is collected and processed with explicit consent and protected with enhanced security measures.

10. Children's Privacy

Our Platform is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the Platform or via email. Your continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

12. Grievance Officer

In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made thereunder, the name and contact details of the Grievance Officer are: Grievance Officer, QuickDeliver, Email: grievance@quickdeliver.in. The Grievance Officer shall address your concerns within 30 days of receiving a complaint.
